E&I Projects Supervisor

About the role

Assala Gabon, a leading oil and gas exploration and production company, is looking for a proactive E&I Projects Supervisor. You will oversee the full lifecycle of electrical and instrumentation projects, from design through to hand‑over to operations, ensuring technical excellence, safety, and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead E&I technicians and subcontractors while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to plan, monitor progress, and resolve technical issues.
• Define scopes of work, prepare engineering deliverables (calculation notes, construction drawings, P&IDs, cable schedules, logic diagrams, cause‑and‑effect matrices, etc.).
• Incorporate HSE requirements early in design and ensure compliance with Assala Gabon, national and international regulations.
• Provide technical input for SAP‑BP material requirements, quotation evaluation, and material expediting.
• Develop E&I engineering solutions to address integrity or operational challenges.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil & gas E&I design and project execution.
• BSc/MSc in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
• Strong team spirit, organizational abilities, and proven project management competence.
• Good mechanical discipline; cross‑discipline knowledge in electrical and instrumentation is a plus.
