Commissioning Manager for FLNG Cap Lopez Project

About the role

We are seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead the start‑up of the new FLNG Cap Lopez facilities in Port Gentil, Gabon. The role will support the mobilization phase expected around 2026 for an estimated one‑year duration, contributing to a $1‑2 billion project that will produce up to 0.8 Mt of LNG per year. The position is primarily on‑shore, beginning in an office environment before moving to the site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and establish the overall commissioning plan for the new facilities, defining scope, schedule and required resources.
• Challenge and optimise start‑up procedures to ensure safe, efficient and compliant operations.
• Organise commissioning sequences and detailed schedules to coordinate activities across disciplines.
• Coordinate the work of contractors and vendors, ensuring alignment with project milestones.
• Manage interfaces between the various facilities and systems to guarantee seamless integration.
• Lead the initial start‑up activities, supervise hand‑over to operations and capture lessons learned.
