Trust and Safety Analyst (Remote)

About the role

The Trust and Safety Analyst will protect platform integrity and user well‑being by investigating policy violations, mitigating online risks, and supporting users facing harmful content. This remote role works closely with product, engineering, policy and legal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth investigations of harassment, hate speech, misinformation, illegal and other harmful content.
• Apply and interpret internal policies with high accuracy, identifying gaps and recommending updates.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve detection tools and reduce harmful content at scale.
• Analyze data to uncover new abuse vectors (spam, scams, coordinated inauthentic behavior) and proactively escalate.
• Handle sensitive user escalations in a trauma‑informed manner and act as primary contact for high‑priority cases, including law‑enforcement requests.
• Provide insights and recommendations to Policy, Product, and Legal teams based on emerging trends.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in Trust & Safety, Risk Operations or Intelligence Analysis within tech/social media.
• Strong emotional intelligence and self‑care strategies for exposure to disturbing content.
• Fluent English with excellent written communication skills.
• Proven ability to make rapid, high‑stakes decisions under pressure.
