About the role

Join the Safety Management System (SMS) department of Setrag, the operator of Gabon's main railway line, as a trainee assistant. You will support the team in updating and improving internal safety training modules, ensuring they meet current regulatory standards and promote best practices among railway staff.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and catalogue safety and quality training topics.
• Design new training materials and refresh existing ones.
• Assist in delivering training sessions and induction programmes.
• Ensure all content complies with applicable safety regulations.
• Support the communication of safety best practices to employees.

Required profile

• Current enrolment in a Licence or Master programme in Safety, Quality, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of safety and quality concepts.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
• Good public‑speaking skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate to advanced level).
