Space Market, Innovation & Investment Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a senior expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role focuses on developing space and geospatial markets, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, and enhancing investment readiness across African and European space ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis and feasibility studies for space and geospatial sectors in Africa and the EU.
• Design and implement innovation instruments, incubation and acceleration programmes.
• Support commercialisation pathways and prepare organisations for investment.
• Facilitate access to finance and connect stakeholders with private‑sector investors.
• Provide strategic advice on policy dialogue, institutional partnerships and knowledge exchange.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in market analysis, innovation, entrepreneurship, business development or investment advisory within technology sectors.
• At least 4 years of experience specifically in space or geospatial markets, including market studies, incubation, acceleration or investment readiness.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French or Portuguese is an asset.
• Familiarity with African space markets and investment ecosystems is advantageous.
