Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to lead our daily accounting operations and support strategic financial initiatives. The role combines hands‑on bookkeeping with analytical reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Run daily accounting operations, including month‑end and year‑end closing, accounts payable and receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities.
• Manage treasury functions, budgeting, cash forecasting and variance analysis of revenue and expenditures.
• Perform capital asset reconciliations, trust‑account statement reconciliations, fixed‑asset and debt activity tracking.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial reports and statements.
• Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems and procedures, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain organized fiscal files and records in compliance with internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in finance or accounting, preferably within media agencies, digital, technology or data‑focused companies.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office suite).
• Experience using accounting software for general‑ledger, payroll and reporting functions.
