Space Knowledge & Communications Expert

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Non‑Key Expert to support knowledge management, editorial production, communication and visibility, digital knowledge platforms, and the dissemination of policy and technical content for the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and curate knowledge assets related to the Africa‑EU space partnership.
• Produce editorial and communication materials, including policy briefs, case studies, and visibility content compliant with EU standards.
• Develop and maintain digital knowledge platforms to facilitate information sharing.
• Support communication and visibility activities to raise the profile of the partnership.

Required profile

• University degree (minimum three‑year program) in communication, journalism, knowledge management, information science or a related field.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
• At least three years of professional experience in communication, editorial production, knowledge management or digital content.
• Minimum one year of experience producing knowledge or communication products for donor‑funded or institutional programmes, including policy and technical content, case studies, digital platforms, and EU‑compliant visibility material.
• Experience in the space sector or science‑technology‑innovation (STI) is a plus.
