Driller – Onshore AC Electric Rig (West Africa)

About the role

Working under the Toolpusher, the Driller operates an AC electric land rig equipped with joystick controls to ensure safe and efficient drilling. The role involves supervising the drill floor crew, maintaining rig readiness for well control, participating in rig moves, and preparing daily reports.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the AC electric land rig using joystick controls for safe drilling.
• Supervise and coordinate the drill floor crew.
• Maintain rig readiness for well control situations.
• Participate in rig moves and compile daily operational reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of onshore drilling experience.
• Experience on AC electric rigs with joystick or cyber chair.
• Valid IWCF Level 4 certification.
• Solid onshore experience, including rig moves.
• Fluent in English and French; Portuguese is a plus.

Required skills

• AC electric rig operation with joystick control.
