Director of Strategy & Performance

About the role

We are seeking a senior Director of Strategy & Performance to join the executive management team of a leading gaming and betting organisation in Libreville, Gabon. The role provides strategic leadership across finance, commercial performance, marketing, strategy and business development, aiming to improve overall business performance, strengthen profitability and uncover new growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance function, overseeing budgeting, reporting, profitability analysis and financial performance.
• Drive commercial performance by managing revenue, margins, sales performance and growth initiatives.
• Steer marketing, strategy and business development activities to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities.

Required profile

• 15+ years of professional experience, including several years in senior management or executive roles.
• Proven track record leading finance functions and delivering strong P&L, KPI and performance‑management results.
• Demonstrated responsibility for commercial performance, revenue growth and margin improvement.
• Extensive experience operating in international, multicultural organisations, preferably in African or emerging markets.
• Professional fluency in French and strong analytical, leadership and decision‑making capabilities.
