Head of Compliance and Internal Control

About the role

Lead compliance and internal control for a leading Lebanese insurance group operating across multiple hubs and subsidiaries. Ensure full adherence to regulatory frameworks such as CIMA and AML/CFT while driving governance and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee compliance and internal control frameworks across all subsidiaries.
• Monitor financial and operational processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide training to teams on compliance standards and internal controls.
• Act as primary liaison with regulatory authorities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Audit, Risk Management or Internal Control.
• 6–7 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in the insurance sector.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Professional certifications such as CAMS, CIA, CFE or CPA are highly valued.
• Lebanese nationality.

Required skills

• CIMA regulatory compliance.
• AML/CFT monitoring.
• Risk management expertise.
