Chef d'Équipe Commerciale – Management B2B

About the role

The company seeks a Commercial Team Leader to drive B2B sales across Central and West Africa. You will manage a network of freelance sales agents, secure high‑value sponsorships, and ensure qualified registrations from international financial institutions, the private sector, and governments.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train and motivate a team of nine freelance sales professionals operating in eight countries.
• Prospect directly with IFIs such as the World Bank, IFC, Africa50, EIB, and AFD.
• Negotiate sponsorship contracts, partnership packages and define tiered pricing (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze).
• Monitor commercial budget, produce weekly reports for the General Director, and manage post‑sale client relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of B2B sales experience in events, investment forums, or mining/energy sectors.
• Deep knowledge of West and Central African markets with an established network of IFIs, corporations, governments and sponsors.
• Proven leadership of distributed teams.
• Fluent in French and English; Portuguese or Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Contract negotiation for deals ranging from €100 k to €10 M.
• Pipeline management and forecasting using Salesforce or equivalent.
• Distributed team coordination tools such as Slack and Asana.
• Professional presentation and pitching abilities.

What we offer

• Fixed salary of 800 k FCFA per month for a three‑month consultancy.
• Commission of 3 % on sponsor revenue (estimated 1.5 M FCFA).
• Total estimated compensation of approximately 3.9 M FCFA (≈ 5 950 €).
