Project Manager – International Construction (Gabon)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team in Franceville, Gabon, delivering complex engineering and construction projects for Amentum’s critical missions.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and develop detailed work breakdown structures.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, track costs and ensure financial targets are met.
• Create and maintain integrated schedules using Microsoft Project and Earned Value Management techniques.
• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and vendors, assigning tasks and monitoring deliverables.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders, preparing contract reports and presentations.
• Monitor schedule and cost performance using SPI and CPI, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Apply industry best practices throughout project execution and identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field (Master’s preferred).
• PMP certification from PMI.
• At least 15 years of program management experience, including 7 years managing large international construction or engineering projects.
• Proven experience working in OCONUS environments and leading diverse teams across continents.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a track record of delivering projects on scope and schedule.
