Analyste Projets & Développement d'Infrastructures SAG (VIE)

About the role

The VIE position supports Meridiam’s Libreville team in managing existing infrastructure assets and developing new projects across Gabon and Central Africa. Working closely with the Central Africa Investment Director and the Société Autoroutière du Gabon, the analyst will be involved in construction, operation, finance and ESG aspects of the Transgabonaise road concession.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor operating, financial and ESG performance of Gabonese assets and produce monthly dashboards.
• Prepare materials for boards, technical committees and shareholder meetings, tracking action plans.
• Oversee concession, construction and operating obligations, including contractual claims and risk management.
• Review technical, financial and HSE reporting, supporting environmental and social compliance.
• Update project financial models, analyse performance and liaise with lenders and development finance institutions.
• Research sectors and markets to identify new investment opportunities in Gabon and Central Africa.
• Develop preliminary financial analyses, business plans and support commercial proposals and tender responses.
• Assist technical, legal, ESG and financial due diligence and prepare investment notes for internal committees.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in engineering, business, finance, economics or project management from a recognised university.
• Strong quantitative and financial analysis abilities with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent written and spoken French and English, with clear drafting and synthesis.
• Interest in infrastructure, public‑private partnerships and African economic development.
• Ability to work independently and interact with senior stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
