Trade Marketing Representative

About the role

British American Tobacco Gabon is seeking a Trade Marketing Representative to drive volume and distribution targets across multiple regions. Based in Lambaréné, you will ensure brand availability and visibility through the execution of trade‑marketing activities aligned with price and channel strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Implement a Trade Marketing and Distribution plan that meets volume, value share, and numeric/weighted distribution objectives for Drive Brands.
• Achieve trade coverage, visit frequency, and outlet visit plans to maximise route efficiency.
• Manage distributors, wholesalers, and retailers by applying account strategies to maximise volume and market share.
• Maintain optimal stock levels, product quality, and freshness through stock management and supply‑chain reporting.
• Ensure pricing aligns with company strategy and monitor competitive performance.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with trade partners.
• Minimum education: BAC (high‑school diploma) with several years of FMCG trade‑marketing experience.
• Fluency in French and basic proficiency in English.
• Valid driving licence and at least three years of driving experience.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, planning and selling abilities.
• Dynamic, innovative, motivated and proactive attitude.
