Store Man – Supply Chain Operations

About the role

The Store Man is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of spare parts and equipment within the supply chain department. This role ensures accurate inventory control, supports mining operations, and coordinates with suppliers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare spare parts requests and post forms in the ACCPAC system.
• Receive local and international shipments, escort trucks to the store area, and off‑load items manually or with a forklift.
• Verify parts, allocate them to shelves, and post transactions (RCP or TRF) in ACCPAC.
• Create discrepancy reports and coordinate returns to suppliers.
• Maintain daily store cleanliness, conduct daily and periodic stock counts, and perform year‑end audit counts.
• Supervise store staff, provide training, and generate reports on low‑stock items.
• Handle re‑export shipments to other sites and prepare requisition forms for purchasing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 0–2 years of experience in warehousing or inventory management.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
• High concentration and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the ACCPAC inventory system.
• Forklift operation.
