Project Manager

About the role

Amentum is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team in Franceville, Gabon. The role involves overseeing complex international construction and engineering projects, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring successful program delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and resource requirements, and develop detailed budgets.
• Maintain integrated milestone schedules, track costs, and use Earned Value Management metrics such as SPI and CPI to monitor performance.
• Manage contracts with vendors, consultants, and subcontractors, assigning tasks and ensuring deliverables meet expectations.
• Provide regular project updates to senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting strategy adjustments and progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field; master’s degree highly preferred.
• Current PMP certification from PMI and at least 15 years of program management experience, including 7 years on large‑scale international projects.
• Proven experience working in OCONUS environments and leading diverse teams across CONUS and OCONUS locations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other project management software tools.
• Expertise in Earned Value Management, financial forecasting, and schedule performance analysis.
