Project Manager (International Construction)

About the role

Amentum is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a team delivering complex engineering and construction projects in Franceville, Gabon. This expatriate position reports to the Senior Project Manager and requires coordination with multiple stakeholders, consultants, and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and resource requirements; develop detailed schedules, work breakdown structures, and planning packages.
• Track project costs, monitor earned‑value metrics (SPI, CPI), and adjust plans to stay within budget and schedule.
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers, assign tasks, and ensure deliverables meet expectations.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and prepare contract reports for clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field; master’s degree highly preferred.
• PMI Project Management Professional certification.
• 15 years of program management experience, including at least 7 years on large international construction or engineering projects.
• Proven experience working in OCONUS environments and leading diverse teams.

Required skills

• Microsoft Project or equivalent project‑management software.
• Earned Value Management techniques and financial forecasting.
