IT Network Support Engineer (Dispatch GBO)

About the role

We are looking for a Network Support Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of our organization’s network infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting network issues, maintaining equipment, and supporting day‑to‑day network operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑level support for network incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing problems.
• Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance, respond to alerts, and resolve outages.
• Maintain ticket updates and documentation for all incidents.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams to resolve complex issues.
• Assist with network maintenance, upgrades, and implementation projects.
• Communicate issue status and resolution timelines to stakeholders.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in network support or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with Cisco or comparable networking equipment.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server environments and Active Directory is advantageous.
