Field Specialist - Completions & Wellbore Intervention

About the role

Baker Hughes, a global energy technology company, is hiring a Field Specialist for its Completions & Wellbore Intervention team. The specialist supports field operations under broad direction in the assigned district and runs most wellbore intervention applications, working within the Cased Hole Completions Product Group.

Key responsibilities

• Run multiple medium to high risk jobs in one or more product lines of the Cased Hole Completions group, under supervisor direction
• Expand and apply knowledge to increasingly complex and risky Cased Hole Completions applications
• Ensure supplied equipment is compatible with all other equipment used for the job
• Provide frontline customer support and complete paperwork accurately before and after the job
• Deliver on-the-job training for some Cased Hole Completions applications as required
• Carry out all business activities in line with HSE policies, legal compliance and core values

Required profile

• Two-year technical qualification or associate's degree
• 5 years of experience in completions and wellbore intervention field operations
• Knowledge of engineering concepts
• Good customer service skills and ability to adjust quickly to changing job assignments

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
