Driller – AC Electric Land Rig (West Africa)

About the role

Working under the Toolpusher, the Driller is responsible for safe and efficient drilling operations on an AC electric land rig equipped with joystick controls. The role includes supervising the drill floor crew, ensuring the rig is ready for well control, participating in rig moves and preparing daily reports.

Key responsibilities

• Operate AC electric land rig with joystick controls.
• Supervise drill floor crew.
• Maintain rig readiness for well control.
• Participate in rig moves.
• Prepare daily operational reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years on‑shore drilling experience.
• Experience on AC electric rigs with joystick or cyber‑chair.
• Valid IWCF Well Control certificate.
• Solid on‑shore experience, including rig moves.
• On‑shore and West Africa experience.
• Fluent in English and French; Portuguese a plus.
