Remote CMS Developer (Contract/Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CMS Developer to design, build, and maintain custom content management systems for a fully remote, contract‑based position. You will translate design mockups into responsive, secure web experiences while collaborating with designers and content teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage, and scale customized CMS applications such as WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, or Magento.
• Develop custom themes, modules, and plugins from scratch to extend platform functionality.
• Implement responsive designs, ensure cross‑browser compatibility, and conduct performance tuning.
• Set up custom post types and fields to provide an intuitive editing experience for non‑technical users.
• Maintain site security, handle backups, updates, and user authentication.
• Apply technical SEO best practices and integrate third‑party APIs, CRM systems, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.
• Collaborate daily with UI/UX designers, back‑end developers, and content stakeholders.
• Document code and technical decisions for future reference.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of professional software development focused on CMS technologies.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and attention to design detail.
