Project Manager – International Construction (Franceville, Gabon)

About the role

Amentum is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team on a critical program in Franceville, Gabon. The role involves overseeing project scope, schedule, cost, and stakeholder coordination while ensuring successful delivery of complex international construction and engineering work.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and resource requirements.
• Prepare and manage budgets, track costs, and ensure financial targets are met.
• Develop detailed schedules, Work Breakdown Structures, and planning packages.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on strategy, adjustments, and progress.
• Manage contracts with vendors, consultants, and subcontractors, assigning tasks and monitoring deliverables.
• Apply industry best practices and standards throughout project execution.
• Monitor schedule and cost performance using Earned Value Management metrics (SPI, CPI) and adjust plans as needed.
• Prepare and present contract reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Measure project performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field (master’s preferred).
• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• 15 years of program management experience, including at least 7 years on large‑scale international construction or engineering projects.
• Proven experience managing projects in OCONUS environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams across CONUS and OCONUS.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver projects within defined scope and budget.
