Logistics Business Support Analyst (Junior)

About the role

Assala Gabon is seeking a proactive Logistics Business Support Analyst to strengthen its logistics operations across land, sea, air, and travel. The junior‑level analyst will supervise logistics services, monitor costs, and provide operational support to department managers and the supply chain manager.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely booking of logistics costs for each asset and corporate activity.
• Manage fuel invoices and allocate them to the appropriate WBS/Cost Center.
• Oversee SAP workflow for logistics activities, including land, marine, aviation, and travel.
• Create and monitor purchase orders in line with budgetary constraints.
• Collaborate with contract representatives to track contract spend.
• Collect, verify, and report logistics data to finance and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain KPI dashboards for logistics services.
• Conduct performance reviews with contractors and internal representatives.
• Support internal and external audit requests and investigations.
• Design and implement reporting tools for fuel management and cost analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience with internal controls and audit support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Management, or Finance.
• Proven experience in oil and gas logistics operations.
