Lead Telecommunications Expert & Network Architect

About the role

We are seeking a senior‑level Telecommunications Expert and Network Architect to design, emulate and deploy a secure, automated network infrastructure for a fast‑moving project that will transition from remote development to on‑site implementation in Gabon.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the detailed project specification and create a functional network architecture.
• Build, test and validate the design on a network emulation platform (e.g., GNS3, EVE‑NG) and present a live demo to executive leadership.
• Design and implement an automated supervision/monitoring framework that is modular and hardware‑agnostic.
• Travel to Gabon to lead the on‑site deployment, work alongside local technical teams and provide mentorship and knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate with back‑office specialists as needed to accelerate the rollout.

Required profile

• Proven experience in large‑scale telecommunications engineering and network architecture.
• Hands‑on expertise with network emulation tools such as GNS3 or EVE‑NG.
• Strong background in network automation and monitoring solutions.
• Comfort operating in highly restricted, air‑gapped environments.
• Willingness and ability to work on‑site in Gabon for the final deployment phase.
