Human Resources Coordinator

About the role

The Human Resources Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for offshore personnel on designated rigs. Working closely with the Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) and Rig Manager, you will ensure smooth logistics, personnel movements, and HR administration in a challenging offshore environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the crew rota, provide check‑in details and arrange travel in line with company policy.
• Mobilise and demobilise expatriate and local staff using the most cost‑effective transport methods.
• Produce monthly offshore workforce reports and keep personnel files up to date (paper and HRIS).
• Support hiring, promotions, demotions, transfers, disciplinary and grievance processes.
• Handle all leave requests and general HR queries from offshore staff.
• Ensure the rig is fully crewed according to standard manning requirements.
• Liaise with national and international manpower agencies for ad‑hoc staffing.
• Administer payroll and benefits for offshore crews.
• Verify qualifications, manage certification renewals, medicals, and visa applications.
• Assist the Emergency Response Team and participate in internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Valid offshore survival certification (e.g., BOSIET, MIST, CA‑EBS).
• Working towards or holding CIPD membership (or local equivalent).
• Experience in logistics/crew management, including visa processes.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
