Logistics Coordinator – International Freight Management

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing international freight movements while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. This role works closely with internal business units and external service providers to deliver cost‑effective and timely shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate international freight movements.
• Prepare shipping documentation such as packing lists, commercial invoices, and certificates.
• Assist with customs clearance for import shipments.
• Maintain shipping registers and files according to standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with business units to ensure orders are shipped expeditiously and in line with contractual terms.
• Determine transportation requirements, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal customers, freight forwarders, and other service providers.
• Generate purchase requisitions for freight‑related invoices and resolve queries with relevant departments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a logistics environment with knowledge of FCPA compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience with SAP is advantageous.
