Offshore Equipment Operator (Operator 2)

About the role

The Operator 2 works within a team to prepare and run offshore equipment safely and efficiently. Under supervision, the role ensures that all operations comply with company procedures and client expectations, delivering a high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Execute operational tasks with the team, ensuring safety and preventing technical issues in line with the operating manual.
• Perform equipment checks to verify compliance with Expro policies, standards and procedures.
• Participate in toolbox talks and planning meetings as required.
• Support on‑shore preparation and return of equipment when needed.
• Liaise professionally with client representatives, offshore supervisors, team members and the operations department.
• Complete all required documentation according to company and client specifications.
• Develop competencies for the current and next role and share knowledge with subordinates.

Required profile

• Technical knowledge obtained through completion of competency for the grade.
• Formal technical qualification.
• Preferably 4+ years of technical experience in a relevant field.
