Nutanix Engineer / Networking IT Support (Break & Fix) – Gabon

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Nutanix Engineer / Networking IT Support Engineer to provide break‑and‑fix services for enterprise infrastructure in Gabon. The role is freelance, on‑call, and involves both onsite and remote troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver onsite and remote break‑and‑fix support for networking and infrastructure incidents.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Nutanix HCI environments (AOS, AHV, Prism) and perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle tasks.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, virtualization, and network issues, including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching.
• Implement backup and disaster‑recovery solutions and respond to critical incidents within agreed response times.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, incident reports, and service records.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure, virtualization, networking, or IT support engineering.
• Valid CCNA certification; Nutanix certification (NCP or equivalent) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work collaboratively with global teams.

Required skills

• Nutanix ecosystem (AOS, AHV, Prism).
• VMware and/or Hyper‑V environments.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching.
• Backup and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Scripting with PowerShell and/or Python.
