Logistics Business Support – Supply Chain

About the role

Assala Gabon is looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Logistics Business Support professional to join its Supply Chain team. The role will provide operational and analytical support across all logistics activities, ensuring cost control, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate and book logistics costs accurately across assets and corporate cost centres.
• Manage fuel‑related invoices and ensure correct allocation to WBS elements and projects.
• Monitor logistics budgets, perform cost analysis, and produce reports for decision‑making.
• Create, manage, and track purchase orders in line with annual budgets.
• Collaborate with contract representatives to monitor spend and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Handle SAP workflows for land transport, marine services, aviation, travel, freight forwarding, contracts, and procurement.
• Support invoice processing, logistics service orders, freight forwarding, and customs clearance.
• Develop and maintain performance monitoring tools, KPIs, and reporting dashboards.
• Conduct performance review meetings with contractors and ensure timely follow‑up on action plans.
