Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Specialist (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is preparing a proposal for the “Support to the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme – AESPP Boost”. The programme aims to strengthen cooperation between Africa and the European Union in the space sector, fostering policy dialogue, knowledge exchange and private‑sector investment. The specialist will support systematic integration of gender equality and social inclusion across programme activities, ensuring inclusive participation and equitable access to emerging opportunities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in gender studies, social sciences, development studies or a related field.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in gender equality, social inclusion or inclusive development in international cooperation.
• At least 4 years of experience designing and applying gender‑responsive approaches in donor‑funded programmes, including gender analysis, sex‑disaggregated indicators and inclusive stakeholder participation.
• Familiarity with EU external‑action gender policy and experience working in Africa are considered assets.
